Real World!

Now I am stepping out into the real world.

Forgetting who I used to be.

This is the new me.

Feel free to believe in me.

Feel free to hate I promise I wont break.

I will stay up late and study no repeating my mistakes.

I think I learned my lesson.

I am done with my depression.

Walking’ with my head held high.

Always looking’ at the sky,

Cause one day that’s where I’ll lie.

I, too, have a dream. . .

I, too, have a Dream. . .

And it won’t take a team

to accomplish my dream

yes me, just me

I have the skills to climb a thousand trees

Are you crazy no one can be above me

I’m determined to get what I want

and I will not stop no matter what

so just shut down

I can still succeed even though no one else is around

I hope I’m making people proud

I tell myself things loud so I don’t forget them when I’m facing a crowd

The crowd goes wild my dream will still precede

I never gave up that’s why my dream is a succeed.

YOU AIN’T GON’ TIE ME DOWN.!

I am unstoppable and my goal cannot be shut down.

I will start from the ground and end up at the top.

Let me tell you now I will not stop.

I will not drop and give up.

I never keep my head down cause that means shame.

I keep my head up to remind myself that I won the game.

I know I said game, but I really don’t play.

I’m striving for the day my dream comes and stays.

As I count the days I see myself proceeding, progressing.

My life is a blessing, and you will not see me stressing.

Just smiling because now I’m finally untying.
